I originally started this blog to update family with photos and stories of our firstborn daughter. At the time, I was one of the only stay-at-home moms I knew and I had never heard of MOPS or any other wonderful groups, so I began to connect with other stay-at-home moms in blogland. This blog has been a lot of things over the years, growing and changing as I have. I still find myself visiting often, pounding away at the keyboard for these reasons:
1. To share snippets from our lives, in stories and photos, with our loved ones afar, and to keep a record for our own family.
2. To connect with other stay-at-home moms, swap ideas, and encourage each other in the sometimes-daunting tasks of motherhood.
3. To encourage other believers in their faith, and strive (though I often fail) to represent Jesus well to those who don't know Him.
5. For the free therapy that writing offers me. :-)
6. Just because I like it.
